SBLUG Iron Builders for February 2019!

Southern Bricks packed into Steve Campbell’s wonderful Laygo store for our first official Meet-Up of 2019, and it was great seeing an absolute ‘sorting box’ of new and old faces about the place, perusing parts and chatting all things Lego!

The hype for Brixpo in July is building in more ways than one, and it’s amazing hearing just how much everyone is brimming with excitement for our first major event as a Community. Ladies and Gentlemen, Start your building!

Massive thanks again to Steve Campbell for hosting us for this one.

Unfortunately during all the chatting and planning we missed out on naming the Winners of this Meet’s Iron Builder Challenge! And for good reason… we’ve had something that hasn’t ever happened as far as I know in our humble-little-Lego-building-competition – a double tie breaker!

Both KFOL (Kids) and AFOL (Bigger kids) brackets each had two entries with equal tallies! A final decision by our expert-panel of Community Builder Judges has been made after intense debate… Scroll down to find out who Won along with all the other awesome entries we had this Month!

This Month’s Iron Builder Challenge theme was… A “Minifig’s best day ever” !

(Limited to 8×16 in size.)
